seychelles ’stroke of genius’

Lucky magazine called these shoes a “stroke of genius”.  I’m not sure why because I didn’t see the actual article or what else was included, but they look pretty a black wedge from Seychelles to me.  I wonder if it’s super comfy?  Maybe it’s the wedge of all wedges?  I have a hard time calling a plain black shoe a stroke of genius, but a simple black wedge never hurt anybody, so I guess we’ll settle on agreeing to disagree…until we feel its magical powers for ourselves.
