topshop to open in the u.s.

Topshop is making a big, big move!  Pretty soon we’ll all be able to enjoy the luxury of Britain’s fashion superstar right here in the US, when Topshop opens their first US flagship in Soho right here in The NYC.  The Brits are coming!  The Brits are coming!   And you thought Posh and Becks were big news?  Ha!  Topshops cavernous emporium in London’s Oxford Circus is a retail giant; a mecca of disposable fashions that are affordable enough to be disposable.  Like H&M, Topshop creates affordable fashion that mimics the fashionistas of the day, like Stella McCartney and Kate Moss.  Topshop is about two things, novelty and bargain; smart shopping for the girl who wants to look expensively chic without spending their life savings on one wardrobe.  These holiday green satin t-straps are just one of the over 7,000 revolving designs in a Topshop season.  They’re 50 pounds in the UK.  How much is the dollar worth these days?
