mary-kate, sienna miller, and keira knightly do ‘rebelle’

I must say that I found it awfully amusing to see the international trend watch calling ‘Rebelle’ the new ‘IT’ style.  As far as I can tell, Rebelle has been the trend for a couple years now, thanks to the new young Hollywood like trendsetters Mary-Kate, Sienna Miller, and Keira Knightly.  So, what is Rebelle?  Think inner city art student meets ethnic eclectic; style that looks like you don’t care or try.  Rebelle is masculine tailored pieces paired with elements that give it a softer and more comfortable edge, like oversized knits, washed-out prints, and vintage accessories.  Vintage riding boots and heavy leather booties finish off the look with a bang, but if you’re a fan of more subtle Rebelle, you can try vintage asymmetrical pumps in poppy colors like these premium suede pumps from ASOS.
