gap ballet flats

Shoedish got to work this morning and realized that she forgot a vital piece of her outfit. I know what you’re thinking; it couldn’t possibly be her shoes…shoedish would never do something so silly and irresponsible. Well I guess you don’t know shoedish very well. This is the girl who lost an entire suitcase full of shoes – swallowed by the subway – when she first moved to the city (27 pairs to be exact). I’m pretty independent, but I’m not much of a planner. Anyway, I did forget my shoes and I’m not even wearing cute ballet flats per my usual. I’m wearing dirty old street shoes; the shoes that I will later wear at the gym. Ew! It is totally ruining my outfit. It’s totally ruining my life!!!! I’m blaming it on the weatherman, who claimed that we’d be experiencing nasty weather, which in turn made me shy away from any cute commute shoes. I wish I was wearing these. These pretty ballet flats from Gap would make me feel better.
